Where should I start looking?  General Topics


For Books:

Use the library catalog, which lists books, journals titles, government documents and other items owned by Frazar Library. To reach the online catalog, use this link.

For Articles:

Use periodical indexes to help you find articles. Among the indexes available online are:

  • Subjects: Newspaper articles from across the country
  • What you'll find: All items are full-text
  • Dates covered: Varies
EBSCO:
Academic Search Premier
  • Subjects: General and scholarly coverage of a wide range of topics.
  • What you'll find: citations and abstracts of articles, plus some full-text articles
  • Dates covered: 1965 to the present

To find out if the library has a paper copy of the journal you need, check the Journals Holdings List.  If you wish to determine if there is a database which has your article so that it can be printed from a computer, use the A to Z list.
